birch is the new destination flower shop in san francisco. owner torryne choate is insistent that flowers are the focus. inspired by her love of fashion, music and art, the floral vibe in birch is unlike any other in the city. "when i designed the shop, i knew exactly what i wanted- the paired down aesthetic and dark tones of an exclusive european boutique, with great music." says torryne. the soundtrack at birch ranges from vintage bowie, to ahmad jamal, to the plasticines and beyond.
